I know, it's a broad question. Locally, the community college and tek.school don't offer classes in this. I am reading what I can find and learning VERY slowly. Eventually I will make it but are there any tips on how to accelerate learning?

Thanks a lot!

Ken

Hi,

There is a very good tutorial here...

There are tests and an online database and sql interpreter to check your answers.

There are two ways to write error-free programs; only the third one works.

Ken,

In addition to tutorials and books, get a database application like MS Access that has a GUI Query Design Facility.

Construct queries of various types in hte QBE Grid and then VIEW the SQL.

You can modify the SQL directly. Some queries cannot be graphically represented in the QBE Grid and MUST be coded directly.

The journey of one thousand miles begins with the first step.

:)
