Dear All
We are currently thinking about using CVS to manage the development files. We are currently in the testing phase and we will need to compile parts of the total source code which would be stored in the repository 3 times a day.
Eg Every day at 08:00 12:00 and 16:00
What is the best way to add tags to these compilations or to the whole repository so that we can extract a particular version at any time.
Eg the 12:00 compilation on 2nd Nov 2003?
I have looked at the tag property which seem to be what I am after, but I don't know if there are any restrictions on the number of tags that can be associated with a single file revision. There is also another tag relating to date and time which also sounds like it might work, but I don't know if you can store multiple sticky date on a single file revision.
Any help would be appreciated.
Thanks in advance.
