Looking for input.

What is the best solution for IP call recording? We are looking to record agents connected to a CS1000M 5.5 with a Contact Center 6.0 and Sig Serv release 5.5 as well. i2050 sets are currently build 264, but Version 3 is on the horizon. We want to make use of the dual media stream feature.

If you make a recommendation, do you currently have it installed?

After the takeover of witness they now have 2 products:

1. Legacy Verint U10 which supports DMS (duplicate media stream)

2. Witness 7.8 sp2 which also supports DMS

BT sell the witness product rebadged as a BT recorder and Nortel also sell the witness recorder badged as a Nortel both under OEM agreements with Verint.

You are probably better off looking at the legacy witness (7.8) product as a lot of investment was made by Nortel in getting this to work. The next release of verint Ultra v11 will largley be based on the legacy witness product so will also offer a good upgrade path in the future.

Other good vendors are:

NICE
CyberTech

But as with all these vendors they have bugs and if they tell you otherwise they are lying. Concentrate on researching their support capabilities and speak to existing customers to get their opinions.
