What is the backup strategy for Backup server itself.

The Backup server with Arcserve 2000 for windows was crashed.
How to restore the backup server, because the tape library is not availible when backup server is down..

If you don't have the Disaster Recovery Option implemented you'll have to reinstall the OS, reinstall ARCserve and recover the database (or merge tapes if you cannot recover the database anymore). After this you can restore the data.

If i have Disaster recovery option. Can i connect to the Tape library,booting from Disaster recovery disk?

Yes providing you have previously tested your DR plan then this should work. You may need to provided drivers for your SCSI card manually during the blue screen setup mode if they are not present on the Windows 2000 CD you are using.
