What is RTM Version?

My version says it is RTM Release to Manufacturing. Does anyone know what that means? Thanks for your help!

It is the final cut that will be released to the general public. It has all the features and functions that will be found in the retail version.

If your SQL Server says that it's the RTM release then it hasn't been patched, and you'll want to look into patching to the current Service Pack which is SP4.
