Hi,

My computer is Intel based server with Windows 2003 SP1. Disks are put into RAID5 array.

I would like to backup the whole system disks (partitions where Windows and programs are installed) to type drive. I would like to have such a software in case of disk failure.

What is recomended profesional software to do the task? I will make such a backup one's per month and I need no user is inserting the data into database system.

Thanks,
Grofaty

I think the big boys such as Veritas Backup Exec ... or Computer Accosiates ARCServe should do the job ... these are the ones i have always used on my server installations.

Give them a read through and let me know what you decide ... they both have options for open files and back-ups from remote locations ... these are usualy bolt on licences you purchase.
