Have a share that was replicated from NT share to Red Hat v8 using rsync. Using 2.2.5 (old samba) but it worked. Recently the share was moved from NT to a share in an AD domain server.
want to do
"smbmount //A.B.C.D/sharename /mnt/mymntpt -o username=myusername password=mypw"
Do I need to go to samba 3.x?
kerberos?
Have inherited this. Know very little about linux or samba or accessing AD using a linux samba client.
Any help would be much appreciated.
