You are sure SQL Server has materialized view? I remember Oracle has it.

Materialized views in SQL Server are also referred to as indexed views. SQL Server normally doesn't stored the result set of a view's SELECT statement, just the SELECT. When a clustered index is applied to a view, the SELECT is executed and the result set is stored in the database. The materialized (stored) result set is used when the view is referenced in a query. See BOL, materialized view.
