what is $HTTP_RAW_POST_DATA?

Hi,

I have started looking into XML for integration into Flash. I was reading the following FAQ:

And I ran into a lot of stuff about $HTTP_RAW_POST_DATA. Does anyone know about this, any helpful links, and how it differs from a simple $_POST? The PHP manual dosen't seem to have anything on the subject.

$HTTP_RAW_POST_DATA is populated when the mime type is not recognized. You can look at your php.ini and set it to Always_Populate_HTTP_RAW_POST_DATA=true or something similar in there.

$HTTP_RAW_POST_DATA is the post data without headers and html. It is, raw.
