What is bos.adt.prof for?

All bos.adt filesets are ApplicationDevelopmentTools (libraries, make utility, include files and stuff), bos.adt.prof is for application profiling support I would guess.
If you don't have the bos.adt filesets installed, (optional filesets) then you don't need to install the updates for it.
