I was given a iso and a rar file for two seperate applications - I was wondering what are these?

Do they generally contain the complete installation of an application?

Thanks

Compressed files that sometimes hold cd images. Use WinRAR for the rars and WinISO or ISOBuster for the iso/bin files.

The RAR will most likely hold an ISO file. You can basically take that iso and burn it to a cd...and have an exact copy of the application on cd as if you just bought it from the store. Downloading some warez perhaps?

Hehe...not that I know anything about that. :-)
