I posted earlier tonight asking for help fitting a Voodoo card. I was later E mailed that 2 people had kindly replied.
When I came to see replies Tek tips have pulled my membership and the thread has disappeared. I cannot understand this I thought the object of the site was to get help. Can anyone who read the post tell me what on earth was wrong or offensive in it?
The thread was titled Can't fit a voodoo3 2000. Please help,
I have emailed the "management" but no reply yet. I find this business a bit sinister.

I commented that the black slots are usually ISA and not VGA as you had thought and the white slots you have are probably PCI, the type you need to plug your Voodoo 3 into (I take it it is a PCI version?)It sounds like you have a riser board in one of your ISA slots by what you described.
By the sounds of it you are very unlikely to have a dedicated VGA graphics slot.
Sorry to hear your post disapeared!!!! Can't see why??
I also said as long as you are using windows (98 etc) once you have pluged the Voodoo into one of your white PCI slots and restarted it should auto detect, plug and play then just direct it towards the drivers on the supplied disc. Martin
