I have just upgrade to windows 2000 server from windows me. I previously used msconfig to get rid of applications in the system tray at startup. This command doesn't work on windows 2000 server. What is the new command to disable any application to load in the system tray at startup?

Hi, you have a few options. First, if you can get a hold of someone with XP, you can copy msconfig from there, it'll work on W2K. Second, you can use the one from W98, it'll work also, after giving you a few error messages (annoying). Lastly, there's definitely third party tools on the net that will do this (free). Do a search if you like.
