What groups does my ExchAdmin account need to be in?

The previous administrator added the Exchange Administrator account to a bunch of different groups (e.g. Server Operator and Backup Operator).

My understanding is that this account only needs to be a member of Domain Admins (global) and Administrator (local).

Is this correct? Thank you.

Actually, it doesn't need to be a member of either.
