what does this error message mean?

I get this error message pointing to a where line in a query:

java.lang.OutOfMemoryError

unable to create new native thread


What does this mean?

What version of Coldfusion are you running? (The full version number from the administrator section)

Also, are there are any database connections on the page with the error? If so, what type of database?

I've seen this error quite a few times but the fix for it depended on the above 2 factors.
