I have an SDI, Aux, and a 25 pair connection with the NTDK27AA cable. I don't have a 1000M cabinet do I? So I can't use te new NTBK69AAE5 Transceiver. Suggestions?

Description:
The NTBK69AAE5 11C / 1000M Cabinet Transceiver is a replacement to the NTDK27 Ethernet Adapter Cable currently used on the 11C Cabinet. The NTDK27 consist of a cable assembly and a separate transceiver that is connected to the Option 11-11C for Ethernet connectivity.

The new NTBK69AAE5 is a Transceiver that was designed for the Nortel 11C / 1000M Cabinet. This Transceiver has no cable assembly and connects directly to the Ethernet connector on the cabinet. The RJ45 connector provides connection to the Ethernet network.

Yes, I found this information earlier. So, you're confirming that I have a Opt 11C cabinet and not a CS1000M cabinet at all? I could also assume that because I don't have a Sig Ser it's not a 1000M cabinet either, but my question was based on the ports that I discribed in my post. So, it's a definately an Opt 11C cabinet? If so, and it has the 25 pair connector, I have to use the NTDK27AA cable since I don't have an RJ45 connectoer anywhere on my back plane?

The new NTBK69 is just a better replacement for the old Amp to DB15 to AUI cable assembly. It's all built together now.

very good, so the 25-pair connector on the backplane is still used, they've just consolidated the parts.

Thx, that helps out.
