Hello. I keep up 2 laptops and 2 computers. One computers has drawers which I can change the boot disks. Drive image is on one boot one disk in the system—I have three boot disks for various tasks. They are all xp, sp2. I just lost a disk today. I just assumed I could not install Drive Image on the other two C drives,(ethical and post-registration) but what if they were treated as another drive. Would a restore work?

If I use XP multiple disk boot,(f8?) and have drive Image on one “C only” can drive can I back up another “C” drive, since it will not be the boot drive?

Drive image has saved many times in the past with just one boot drive. Now Symantec has it hands on it. I’m worried.

What is good for $100, but does not limit the disks that you can back up? Someone told me if you purchase one of those push button 1394 interface drives, the software will install on multiple systems, or maybe they meant the push could be used on any add.

Maybe I could create a boot disk, 1394, and put backup software on it. Boot to that disk and that would almost be like the push button scenario.

(Sorry such a long post)

Thanks,

Tom
