Having a problem with an NT PDC. The system is creating directories in the WINNT folder called wfvX where X is a number starting at 1 and going up. Most of the directories are empty. They all seem to be created during the nightly Virus Scan. Anyone seen this before? Im running NT 4 SP6a, and Mcafee Virus Scan 4.5. If left alone it will create in excess of 10,000 of these directories. All directories have no owner assigned and have RWX/RWX permissions for everyone. Any help would be great. Im getting tired of manually deleting these directories every morning.
