Hi guys, I was wondering how do you get rid of the welcome screen that boots up.

I've grown tired of typing a password to get inside of my computer, soo i was wondering if you guys know how to get rid of it so i can start up like it did back in windows 98 or somthing like that

THANKS ;)

Go to Start > Settings > Control Panel > User Accounts > click 'Change the way users log on or off' > untick 'use the welcome screen'

I forgot to add: If you want your PC to automatically log you on without having to enter your password, download Powertoys for Windows XP (it's free) and fill in the Autologon details and set it to automatically log you on at startup.
