Hello,
I'm running Windows 2000 Pro in a dual boot configuration on a dual Pentium II 350 Mhz Supermicro P6DBE motherboard. I recently noticed a strange phenomenon. When I right click on my Task Bar icons to bring up menus for programs such as Volume Control or Real Player or even Internet Explorer, the mouse pointer becomes an hour glass. Apart from that it seems to work okay and overall my PC performs fine. I can select Menu items and perform the menu function fine.
My questions are - why am I getting this hour glass display? Is it symtomatic of some other unrecognised change that may have taken place in my system. Is there a way to fix it?
Thanks,
