Has anyone ever run into this problem? Our network has 5 Cisco switches 4 of which are logically connected through a Marconi switch fabric. The other is in a completely different location only connected logically through an ATM network of Marconi equipment. These switches are edge devices that talk to an ATM backed network. All 5 Cisco switches (6513's and one 6509) stopped talking to the network at the same time. However, they were talking to their connected marconi switches saying they were there and sharing their IP address but the interfaces were not pingable and the switches were not passing any traffic. The Ciscos had also lost all CDP data from their neighbors. All 5 stopped at the same time and we had to go around and reset each switch(not just the module) in order to get them to talk tot he network again.
Any ideas? Thanks.
