We have a NT Server running IIS used for an Intranet. One of our users recieved a:
"401.3 Unathorized: Unauthorized due to ACL on resources while attempting to access a page."

Another user got an "Enter Network Password" dialog going to a different page.

After a few minutes time, both users were able to bring up the pages requested, without errors or any dialog prompts.

The current settings in IIS are to allow anonymous access, with "read" and "execute".

The permissions set on the HTML (and ASP) files themselves (in NT Explorer) are to allow the few people who edit pages to have "Change" and for IUSR_MachineName to have read.

Do we have our wires crossed somewhere?
