Weird roaming profile Q

Im not sure if this is a WIndows 2000 configuration problem or Citrix, but i'll try here first....

Im working on a full blown Domain, DNS, DHCP, several sites, repication, VPN the whole works....

im setting up a server to run a datastream product (mp2) using Citrix MF 1.8 for windows 2000 to allow all sites to connectto this published app. Everything ONSITE works just fine. I am having problems with OFFSITE workstations that connect to the citrix server. The problem occurrs when i check printers on the published App. It seems that all of the offsite users have NO printers in the published app. BTW i am not using "connect client printes at login" because all printers are network printers, and doing this just creates duplicates. anyways, i start looking around for the problem and i find that every OFFSITE user that logs onto the citrix server is only given a LOCAL user profile, while every ONSITE user is given a ROAMING profile. BTW all users (ONSITE AND OFF) have roaming profiles located on the appropriate SITE server. I think this is connected to my published app printing problem, but im not sure where to start with this one. WHy isn't the roaming profiles being picked up when an OFFSITE user logs in???

Definitely a Windows 2000 configuration issue.

Trace the login procedure using Filemon from

http://www.sysinternals.com

- if you compare a user that can pick up the roaming profile with one that can't - especially if it's the same user but from the different locations - you should be able to work out what is happening.

Note: Never use Filemon on a busy server (ie this is an out-of hours job).
