IS-IT--Management
First let me state that I desperately need help on this issue – so if you got an Ideal please post.
Background: We have fully converted from Exchange 5.5 to Exchange 2000 and have moved all mailboxes and are running on Exchange 2000 only, 5.5 is turned off.
We are in a single domain, no trusts just a simple exchange deployment.
All the users who have a PDA (Sony, Toshiba, and Palm) have the same issue: they can’t sync any info previous calendar info (before conversion) between exchange and the calendar. It seems exchange 2000 won’t allow it and gives the following server error:
Event Type: Warning
Event Source: EXCDO
Event Category: General
Event ID: 8242
Date: 3/4/2002
Time: 9:13:45 AM
User: N/A
Computer: Exchange1
Description:
The existing appointment with the subject "THINK Workgroup Meeting" in mailbox izamarron@cpp.org was deleted. The start time, or both the duration and end time were missing.
Of course there is start time and duration info.
MS has no info on this error – is their some type of permissions I am missing??
Thanks
Charles
