just wondering if anyone has any ideas on this one, I am feeling a bit lost.

I used to do a nat from an external ip lets say it was 24.156.4.31 to a web server 10.10.10.10.

eventually I have need to delete this nat to recreate the nat elsewhere.

There are no routing protocols.

when I do a show ip cef I still see the public address listed, and I am having issues with the nat on the other device.

Does anyine have any idea why or how I can clear the apparent bind on the public ip?

I'm no pro but even a router reboot didnt do it. And all of the related entries are gone, it (the external ip) is not in the config at all.

Thanks in advance for any light any of you may be able to shed on the subject.

What type of router is it? You may want to try a clear CEF command or turn CEF off and then back on.

Hi thanks for your response.

I have already tried no ip cef and re-enabling.

When I do show ip cef I see the address still there.

Any other ideas guys?

any help would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks again.
