Periodically my webserver will stop responding to requests. The IIS service stays running and there are no logs in the event viewer. The web site will stay down until I log onto the server where IIS is. I am not sure if this is a hardware error or a coding error. I have reloaded the box with Windows 2003 server and IIS 6. The problem has not gone away, it has only slowed down.

Are there any performance monitors to check or any logs to turn on to try and resolve this issue?

For performance monitoring you can check the details at Microsoft .

Sharing the best from my side...
