WEBI question

Hi,

Can you use WEBI against a Crystal Report that is set up on the BOXIE Enterprise server?

If you mean can you make a crystal report into an ad-hoc the answer is no.

Not that I am aware of.

Correct. Once a Crystal, always a Crystal. In XI2, there is a conversion to make a BO report into a WebI report.

I see though that in WEBI there you can connect to a Business View and a datasource. You also can see Crystal Reports. That is why I am asking, if I can see it???

I think you need to clarify your question.

In WEBI XIR2 I can connect to a Business View, which is Crystal Engine based, they also have Crystal Reports listed on the menu for WEBI, but I haven't seen anything that tells me how to use or if I can use a CR report to base a WEBI report off of.

Has anyone seen this?

You cannot base a WebI report off a Crystal report.
