hi~
i'm running a windows 2000 server on a domain and i'm trying to setup web folders so that i can access files but i'm having trouble with the permissions. i have a virtual directory that points to the directory i want to read/write files and the directory security setting is for integrated windows security. i turned off anonymous login because i don't want the iusr account to have access to this directory. i have also set up ntfs permissions on the directory.

the problem is when i try to create the web folder through the add network place wizard, it won't take my username/password combo. i'm sure i'm typing in the correct password but i'm not sure about the username. when i type in the username with the password, it comes back with in the username box and won't let me in.

i set the virtual directory up so that it used anonymous access and it connected to the folder but it just won't work for integrated authentication.

does anyone have any idea what i'm doing wrong? what should the username look like? i've tried mydomain\username and only my username but neither of these work.

thanks
