Webbased login on .htaccess

Hi,

I've got a .htaccess-protected folder on my server, and I have the whole page in one style.
The login-windows matches absolutelly not to the rest of the pages. (I know, I spend my time with that unimportant bullshit, but there I worry about! )
Is there any posibillity to login with a webbased post/get/etc?

The HTTP/Auth protocol is more involved than that. It requires adding headers to your request, which come outside the query string. I recommend reading the RFC if you need more information.
