Web services cross domain policy problem

Am i correct in thinking that if you want your Flash program to use a wsdl file located on another domain then there has to be a policy file ON THAT OTHER DOMAIN?

Doesn't this make life a bit difficult if the people at THAT OTHER DOMAIN won't let a file be put up there?

has to be there....but if they are supplying a web service then it will be there in the root

however id have a look at the ultrashock forum on 'flash backend communications' where the experts on this reside
