Hello,

1. Does Netware 4.1 support TCP/IP out of the box?
... i.e. no special products to buy
2. What web servers can you run on Novell 4.1?

You can load TCP/IP and bind it to the NIC. I don't think you can connect to the server via IP from the client, but works fine for Web.

The only one I'm familiar with in that environment is the Netscape Enterprise Web server. We use it for GroupWise Web access on NW 4.11.

Back about '97 there was a product for 4.11 from Novell called Web Server 3.0. I believe it was free. Never used it myself however and have no idea of current status/availability.

I had to install NWIP to get the clients to connect via IP.
