We have two identical Dell PowerEdge servers running Windows 2003 Standard and have installed and configured IIS. We are looking to use Microsoft's Network Load Balancing but are not quite sure the best way to configure it. Both servers have two NICs, one of which is static on our network. How should we configure the other NIC on both servers? Should they be set with their own private addresses and a crossover cable connecting them and if so, which one do we run the NLB on? Any help is greatly appreciated.
