there is but it would make the site inaccessible to SE crawlers and possibly some screen readers, Make it impossible to bookmark pages and generally be a PITA for many.

and that is to use frames.

I only want them to be able to bookmark the main page. Eventhough I passwrod protect most of the pages, I do not want the public to know the page name or directory location.

the only way to achieve that is to have a single page and pull all other content from a database or from conditional includes.

It's a very simple matter to get file names and paths from the source of any html file otherwise.
Even in frames the pagename will show in the status bar.
