Hi,

My company wants to create what is essentially a web content management system. You know all the usual stuff - news, articles, searches, user profiles etc.

Now we could just buy a web content management system but the problem is that we need the system to integrate with other external systems and do other bits and pieces - users need to be able to register for research for example.

I'm looking for a web content management system that I can plug into my java application. So my bespoke java will do all the complex stuff and the CMS will just update the changing content.

Does anybody know of such a CMS??

Cheers

try that out; xml and java working together for Separation of Concerns (SoC). I've been using it for over a year. You can take a look at a Cocoon project of mine at As you can see, there are news articles, user profiles, etc... I haven't implemented searching yet, but Cocoon does support it. Let me know if you need a hand; I'd even be willing to send you my source code as a springboard. Liam Morley
