I had a similar error message a few months back. Don't know if our fix will end up being your fix, but here are my notes to the call center skillset supervisor:
The vendor isn’t a lot of help here. It’s one of those “hey there was a problem, but now it’s all OK...what happened?” deals that is very difficult to solve. You and I are observing that it all seems to be working OK now. I’ve been testing this for a couple of days now with different login IDs, and here is what I’ve found:
I think the main part of this hinges on “who created the report.” The crummy thing is the report doesn’t tell you who created it. If you did not create the report, you can: activate/deactivate it, and you can “save as” under Report Details, then on the gray bar click on Report...Save. You can update selection criteria and then run the report, but the changes won’t stay unless you save the report as your own using the method above. If you did not create the report, you won’t see it in the Scheduled Events window, even if you Activate/Deactivate it. If you did not create the report you cannot overwrite it (the Save Report button on the bottom). If you did create the report, you pretty much have full control, including being able to see it in Scheduled Events.
I was intermittently able to recreate the “unable to active...job has already actived” and “unable to deactive...” error messages several times on newly created reports. Each time I was able to solve them by either changing status in the Scheduled Events or modifying the schedule directly and overwriting. These solutions didn’t seem to work on Tuesday, but I wonder if it was because we were both working on a report Eva had originally created.
The vendor is trying to get in and make sure we have the latest service updates, patches, etc. However, my guess is now that you are sure (if in fact you are) that all the reports under "Skillset 3" Group were created by you, we won’t have too many problems anymore. Please let me know if this happens again.
