I would like to jump from writing Clipper dos based applications to writing web-based or web-eabled applications use Clipper DBF/NTX files. Is there a development platform out there that does a good job of this?

One alternative might be ODBC. I've successfully used DBF files as the stowage for web-based software. The web software talks to the ODBC system but the underlying DB is just plain old clipper/dbf

Hi,

I have used ClipWeb in the past quite successfully. You should find this at:

I would suggest, if they still do it, that you but the source code too as this will let you write your own libs as well based on their code.

This wil lallow you to use your standard CLipper code to generate Web-based apps quite easily.
