Web-based application using ASP and MYSQL server

Hi,

I need to develop a faster web-based application using ASP and MYSQL server to be used over a WAN mostly via Intranet. I have developed the database my problem is providing a data entry interface to it. So that users using IE can login to the database and update it regularly.

I am new to programming or to ASP, know HTML and slightly VBScript. Please can anyone help how can I make my database online, any tutorial or book anyone can recommend. I need to have this web-based database online soon.

I would suggest the ADO and ASP tutorials over at w3schools.com. The early ADO tutorials should prove useful in creating a basic interface. Plus ifyou look through the FAQs for this forum tere are a large number dealing with ASP and database connectivity/management/etc.

There are IDE's out there that could do most of the coding work for you, but I wouldn't know which to uggest as I am a purist and write all my code by hand.
