I have reports that I would like to have refresh nightly so that when the customer looks at the reports in the morning they are updated. Also I want to hide the refresh button on the web viewer so that they not be banging the server all day long manually refreshing every 30 seconds.

Sorry for two questions in one....

Thanks,

John

What does the WEB mean?

Are you using Crystal Enterprise?

If so, then you can turn off the refresh by changing their rights from Run to View.

You can schedule reports in Crystal Enterprise to run Daily and set the time.

Sorry if I didn't answer your question properly, if you supply how you're deploying these reports, it would simplify things.

Sorry for not being more clear. I am using the html viewer for the internet and using crystal 8.0, I am not using enterprise. I have the availability to use other viewers if one would work better for this than another.

Thanks,

John

This is what I have done so far, let me know if this will give the desired result:

This is what I did to auto-refresh:
I unchecked the file-options-reports-"save data with report"
Then checked Database "Verify on every print"

Then to disable the "Refresh Button" itself, I did this in WCS Viewer:
I unchecked "Refresh Report" .
I know it will remove the "Refresh Button", but will it also stop the auto refresh that I want done?
