Does anyone know where to get a decent multi-file search & replace utility?

I need to replace a certain string in multiple .CPP & .H files in multiple directories.

Yes, I know I could write one, but I'm lazy !!!!!! Spencer Window (not a joke name)

I have never used it for this but I belive UltraEdit (hex editing tool) has this capablility. You can download it here:


I dont know if this is a warez site or not but it was the first download I found. I am sure the official site for ultraEdit has a trial version as well. All I am saying is if you dont trust the site above, check the internet for the UltraEdit homepage.

The tool you are looking for is in the "Search" menu
