Hello,

I have several icons in my startup file and one of them never loads properly because the drive mappings in the first bat file haven't completed yet. Is there any way to tell a program in the startup to "wait" a minute or two before executing?

Thanks.

There is the "pause" command that would wait for you to hit a key...

Thanks Alex, I put that in a little bat file and it's a good enough solution for me.

Maybe, if you start the program from what you call the
first bat file, the PAUSE may be omitted (?)

Thanks PAnderson. Actually I have no control over that first script that is run - it is a logon script executed by the group policy. That would be the best solution, though.
