I am having problems with Windows taking up ghost space on bootup
The disc is showing itself to be full with the WINDOWS folder taking up 2GB when it is booted when physically attached to Broadband modem. But the disc has 1.3Gb free space with WINDOWS folder taking up 609Mb when the system is booted and not physically attached to Broadband modem
However, if system booted without Broadband modem and then subsequently I plug in the modem without rebooting, then system still shows 1.3Gb free space - so it must be something to do with the bootup sequence when attached to the Broadband modem that causes the disc to be full
Any thoughts?
