HI.
You can only remove the virus in a clean environment such as:
* Creating write protected rescue diskettes on a clean computer and using them.
* Placing the hard drive as secondary to an existing hard drive with OS and updated anti virus.
Anyway you will probably need to reformat or atleast reinstall all OS and apps, so if no important data on the disk you can simply start with formatting...
You can backup the My Documents and other files - CIH infects only executables so DOC are not infected.
