I installed a new Fileserver Monday..... I had to rearrange drive letter mappings via openmanage (diskmanager) Anyway..... I came back to the machine today... I noticed that my DATA drive (when looking at MY COMPUTER VIEW) there are 2 data drives...

ex.

C: SYSTEM (DRIVE)
D: DATA
E: DATA

D and E are exactly the same... you add a file to Drive E and it's already in D..... what the hell does this mean? I've NEVER seen this before. FYI, I go into Diskmanager and there is only C and E drives listed.... friggan weird! Ever see this... Been doing google searches for the past couple of days and can't seem to find any fixes....

This message does nothing in reference to my issue.

actually, he'd probably want subst d: /d, since Disk Manager says the C: and E: drives exist. He'd want to delete the d:

brettums - try that command and see if it fixes the problem.

in all honesty... I'm afraid to do that entry...
