Hello, this little problem has been annoying me for a while now and I can't seem to resolve it. I am using BrightStor 11.1 with a loader with a single drive to do two backups a night. The first backup is an onsite rotation of the first 15 tapes in the loader and there is never a problem. However, the second backup is an offsite tape that is rotated every day in the 16th slot of the library. I have inventoried all the tapes and have them setup in Media Pools but if I forget to go in and inventory the offsite tape slot after it has been swapped each day the offsite backup fails with the following error:

N5921
1 media moved from Save Set to Scratch Set in ???????E pool.

Now I have looked everywhere to get the software to just overwrite whatever tape is in the number 16 slot each night but I keep failing to get it right. I have it setup with a destination media of * in the Offsite Media Pool, which has been completely inventoried. I have also gone under the Global Options and selected in Backup Media to "Overwrite Same Media Name, or Blank Media First, then Any Media" and it still fails if I forget to inventory the tape after it gets swapped. Is there either something wrong withe my settings that I'm missing or is there a way to create a job that simply will inventory my slot 16 before the backup so if i forgot to inventory the slot it would do it on its own? Any help you can give me will be appreciated. Thanks.
