W32Time Service

I want to setup the time service on a Windows 2000 domain controller (getting tired of seeing the event errors.

I understand how to activate it (see below), but is this something that I need to do everytime the server is rebooted?

After setting the time on the DC, do clients automatically syncronize with it?

net time /setsntp:tick.usno.navy.mil
net stop w32time
net start w32time
 
Hi,

1) You do not need to do this every time you boot your server
2) Domain Clients synchronize with the DC, yes.

To verify your settings, issue the following command:
[tt] net time /querysntp[/tt]
