Hi,

We have the W32time service running on our NT 4 server that is using the
administrator account to login.

What I want to do is create a dedicated account for this service to use i.e.
an account called TimeSvc for example.

I have created an acount and given it the right to logon as a service but
W32time will not load using this account, I get the following error :-

Event ID : 7000
The Windows Time Service service failed to start due to the following error:
The service did not respond to the start or control request in a timely
fashion.

and....

Event ID : 7009
Timeout (120000 milliseconds) waiting for service to connect.

Are there some rights I forgot to give the user?

Any help would be appreciated

Thanks

Lee
