W2K3 network issue?

I have a w2k3 server runing as PDC. Everything was working fine for the past month since install. This morning the problem arose that when browsing the network the PDC no longer shows up. Everyone can long just fine and all map drives are there even the GP policies are working.

I tried browsing at the server but I get an error that I need administratrative right to view this server...I am login as the administrator?.

if you would tpye the name of the server eg //sever/shared_folder does that work ?

Yes and searching by IP also works. It's just not seen by My network places or entire network.

are all the computers under the same workgroup ? DNS working propeley ?
Also double check your DHCP server , i'm not sure if the server or a router releasing ips

One more thing you could check if you have anyfirewall preventing you from brwosing the network eg. norton secrutity ..etc
