I am trying to reinstall W2K on a machine on which it was
previously installed. I reformatted the harddrive, NTFS
as it was before, and am attempting to reinstall W2K.
Everytime it gets to the Components - specifically the Distributed Translation Coordinator, it reboots the
machine and restarts the installation. I tried
disconnecting from the network and NOT loading any network
components, but it made no difference. Also tried removing all non-essential components. I have now sat
through the restarting of the reinstall 12 times and am
getting sick and tired of re-entering the damn key code.
Why won't it reinstall?

Why are you reinstalling - previous problem? I'd suggest you likely have a hardware problem - one of the components you've not removed (obviously!). Have you tried either different RAM or just one stick at a time (if you've more than one?) Swapping out graphics card?
