we recently installed a thin client LAN solution, running Windows 2000 in Application server mode on a dedicated server (separate to our back office box)

on the client PCs we are getting weird and wonderful colour refreshes - how can this be overcome?

(the servers are in the same building as the thin clients, so it's not down to frame relays, etc. which i know can be responsible for similar poor screen handling)

We use Citrix for our thin client portal, and it has a really hard time with more than 256 colors. When I changed everyones display properties, the color show stopped.

Hope this helps.

Corie

Ps, on workstations where the pc is a full pc instead of a thin client, true color works fine.
