I am setting up a new W2K server. I am installing a Broadcom Netxtreme Gigabit Ethernet card. It comes with two ports. How can I tie the two ports together for fail over, using the same IP?

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Some adaptors have "adaptor teaming" that is configured in the properties of the adaptor. You may need to use the manufacturer's driver to have that option instead of using the MS supplied driver.

Oisnds,

Thanks for the reply. I finally figured it out, and it is exactly what you said. I downloaded a software for the adapter, and it has all the functions I needed.

Thanks again,
EA
